About Gaga:
Gaga is the movement language developed by Ohad Naharin throughout his work as a choreographer and Artistic Director of Batsheva Dance Company. Gaga has two tracks: Gaga/dancers, which is the daily training of Batsheva Dance Company members, now taught also for other dancers in Israel and abroad; and Gaga/people, open to the public and available for anyone, without the necessity of previous experience. Gaga classes are held for a growing number of people in the Suzanne Dellal Centre and at additional places in the country and abroad.
Gaga is an experience of freedom and pleasure. The work improves instinctive movement and connects conscious and unconscious movement, and it allows for an experience of freedom and pleasure in a simple way, in a pleasant space, in comfortable clothes, accompanied by music, each person with himself and others.

Gallim Dance Company
Choreography by Andrea Miller
with guest teacher from the company Austin Tyson
Gallim Dance, one of New York’s leading contemporary dance companies, creates and performs the work of Artistic Director Andrea Miller. Since 2007, Gallim has presented Miller’s artistic vision through its performances, collaborations, educational programs, and Brooklyn studio projects. With each new work, Gallim dives deeper into singular explorations of universal struggles such as love, spirituality, and the tensions between the individual and collective experience. Miller’s uncompromising creative language—which exerts every drop of sweat, every breath, and full abandonment from a virtuosic and fearless company of dancers—brings these works to life. The “delicious strangeness, fierce aggression, and raw beauty” (New York Press) of Gallim Dance celebrates the human spirit. While deeply rooted in dance expression, Gallim is a unique set of cultural ethos, drawing upon elements of theater, visual art, film, and political philosophy.
Repertory taught by Austin Tyson:
Austin Tyson (Dancer) is originally from Portland, Oregon where he studied with the Jefferson Dancers and Northwest Dance Project. Austin continued his education at New York University – Tisch School of the Arts and the Salzberg Experimental Academy of Dance. During his time at NYU, Austin had the pleasure of performing works by Aszure Barton, Séan Curran, and Kate Weare. Whilst at NYU Austin also became a certified yoga instructor through the Mind Body Dancer® 200 Teacher Training with TaraMarie Perri. After University, Austin continued on to perform with MADboots Dance Co. and Company XIV, before becoming a member of Gallim Dance in 2013.
